Test A:Leased and loose track

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog must follow his handler about a distance of about 40 meters. This process must be led and not leashed to be taken.

B. The route has the shape of an elongate hourglass, allowing for the handler it always have two bends with his dog on the inside and two bends on his outside.

C. While following not leash the handler should leave the collar and leash on a by the judges aproved designated place.

The KJV (old) test:

Test B:Sending out and come on command

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog must be send away without collar or line and should be reaching a distance of about 30 meters

B. Thereafter, the dog must come to the command handler.

C. The handler must immediately give this order, after the judge him this instructs.

Test D: Short retrieve on land

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog is without a collar, loose to hunted.

B. The dog has a clear terrain to retrieve a wild rabbit.

C. The drop place should be chosen in such a way, that the dog from the position at the for hunter can see this drop.

D. The thrower must throw the rabbit away from him in such a way that the rabbit drops at approximately 25 meters from  the dog.

E. The dog must return the rabbit at the time the judge has given permission. This would be about 1 second after the thrower has thrown the rabbit on the drop spot .

F. The judge will designate the place where the handler put his dog. The handler may not leave the place during the test unless the judge him instructs.

G. The dog must bring the rabbit within easy reach of the hunter.

H. A rabbit may be used in this test several times by different dogs.

Test C: Keeping the designated place

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog is without a collar, loose to hunted and left by the handler on a designated place to keep him there until his handler picks him up again

B. The handler has to stay two full minutes outside the dog's vision.

C. The judge is there to see to that the dog not drift and stays on the designated place.

D. If two dogs are assessed at the same time, the test shall be so arranged so that the dogs cannot see each other from the designated place during the two minutes of keeping the designated place.

Test a and b always follow after each other (as in the movie)

Test E: Retrieve from deep water

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog is without a collar, loose to hunted.

B. The dog has a clear thrown wild duck fetch in deep water.

C. The judge will designate the handler the place where he has to sit his dog and where the dog has to bring the duck back. The location will in such a way be chosen to be about three meters, depending on the local circumstances out of the waterfront.

D. The duck must be thrown in a place in the water, that the dog

must swim to achieve.

E. the dog and handler position will be that he/she can see the duck drop.

F. a shot is fired while throwing the duck. The shot shall be issued on the time the duck is at the highest point.

G. The judge gives after a second mission to the to retrieve duck.

H. The handler may not be the place designated during the execution of the test to leave.

I. The dog must bring back the duck within easy reach of the handler.

 

When you have completed the tests A-E and u got for each test at least a 6, you will get a C- diploma.

Test F: Lost retrieve on land

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog is hunted without a collar.

B. The dog has to fetch a wild duck into a dense cover thrown

C. Preferably, the test should be so turned off that the wind is coming from one direction perpendicular to that in which the dog must be output.

D. The thrower is at a place where the dog and handler cannot see him, the duck is throw in such a way that the duck reaches about 40 meters from the handler.

E. The greatest extent in the layout of the test is that the handler and dog cannot see each other after the dog is send away.

F. The judge will take such a position, that he could see the seeking dog and can judge.

G. The dog must bring back the duck within easy reach of the handler. The judge will designate the place where the handler put his dog. The handler may not leave the place during the test unless the judge him instructs.

 

Test G: Mark retrieve on land

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog is hunted without a collar.

B. The dog has no collar or a line disposed visible to him for a wild duck retrieve.

C. The drop should be selected so that the dog cannot see the duck lie.

D. The drop spot should not stand so that the dog will be attracted to it.

E. Preferably, the test should be so turned off that the wind is coming from one direction perpendicular to that in which the dog must go. Launcher and rifle must in this case downwind of the drop spot of the duck. The duck must upwind to be cast.

F. Thrower and gun remain in place throughout the test.

G. After the handler has indicated to the judge that he is ready, gives the judge the rifle and pitcher a sign that they can start.

H. Immediately after the shot, the thrower should start and throw the duck with a large bow, apparently the drop spot will be about sixty meters of the dog.

I. The judge will once after the duck has fallen a go after about three seconds. He does this by the handler by tapping on his/her shoulder.

J. The handler can’t give the dog any direction or commands from the time the dog is send away.

Test H: Retrieve over deep water

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog loose to hunted without a collar.

B. The dog must retrieve a duck on the other side of a wide, deep water.

C. The water should be at least ten meters and up to forty meters wide and so deep, that the dog needs to swim to reach the other side.

D. The thrower put the duck at the drop spot when the dog cannot see him, the duck will be put depending on the width of the water and the nature of the terrain, a minimum of ten meters and up to forty meters from the side of the water

E. Preferably, the test should be so turned off that the wind is coming from one direction perpendicular to that in which the dog must be sent across the water.

F. The dog must bring back the duck within easy reach of the handler. The judge will designate the place where the handler put his dog. This place will be chosen in such a way that it extends approximately three meters, depending on the local conditions.

G. The handler may not leave the place during the test unless the judge him instructs.

When you have completed the tests A-E and complete test F, G and H and u got for each test at least a 6, you will get a B- diploma

Test J: Retrieve a distance runner on wide water 

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog loose to hunted without a collar.

B. The dog must retrieve a duck on the other side of a wide, deep water which is been marked by making use of a slip track

C. The water must be at least fifteen meters wide and so deep that the dog must swim to the other side.

D. Preferably, the test should be so turned off that the wind is coming from one direction ranging between straight from behind and perpendicular to that in which the dog over the water should be sent.

E. From the other side of the water traces a track trail, which depend the difficulty of the water and the nature of the terrain, minimal one hundred and fifty meters and is up to three hundred meters long. The track should at least two hooks are of approximately ninety degrees. At the end of the track trail does he find a duck.

F. Preferably the terrain serves across the water to be such, that the dog which has adopted the trail trace, quickly to the view of the face hunter is withdrawn.

G. The dog cannot see the drawing of the trail.

H. The beginning of the towing track is marked as natural as possible and to the handler announced. The handler the dog must to the beginning of the conducting track trail. If the dog has passed the trail, it is the for handler forbidden to give further commands.

I. The handler may not leave the place during the test unless the judge him instructs.

Test I: Conducting test on land 

 

Description of the test:

 

A. The dog loose to hunted without a collar.

B. The dog must retrieve a wood pigeon. The handler has send the dog to a stop point en from that point the dog needs to be directed towards the drop spot of the pigeon.

C. The test has to take place in clear terrain.

D. The stopping point is about one hundred meters from the position of the handler and to be about fifty meters from the drop spot and to be chosen in such a way that direction a significant correction is necessary in order to achieve the drop spot. Preferably the test should be so turned off that the wind direction is perpendicular to those in which the dog must be sent and the drop spot and downwind from the stopping point is.

E. Drop spot and stop point should be marked as natural as possible.

F. The drop spot and spacious surroundings have low coverage, so that the dog cannot see the game before he’s send away.

G. The thrower is at a spot when the dog cannot see him during the test, and where he drops the pigeon.

H. The handler cannot leave the designated spot more than five meters and thereby not exceed forward a specified line.

I. The handler must stop his dog in the vicinity of the stop point and when the judges give him permission, he can send his dog direct to the drop spot of the pigeon.

J. The dog must bring back the pigeon within easy reach of the handler.
